Mathias Bergh Interview!
Me: Just wondering, how did you get scouted by agency or how did you start modelling? people are amazed at how you started your debut with starring in 4 major labels campaign (gucci, g. ferre, gerard darel, z zegna)
Mathias : I was discovered by a scout during a session I had at a restaurant in Stockholm when I was 17 years old. This was while I was still in school so it was hard to go for it wholeheartedly, So I barely did no jobs at all. My career started 5 years later when I signed up for Ford Models in Paris, and for that I'm thankful.
Me: Is there any funny experience while doing photoshoot that you would like to share with us, or any modelling experiences?
Mathias : Every photoshoot is different from another, that is a thing that I like with my job. A shoot that was really funny was the womenswear Prada Campaign, we basically just danced thru the whole shoot (4 days). A nice bonus was that the dancing partners was among others Angela Lindvall & Miranda Kerr.
Me : Favorite song at the moment?
Mathias : Temper Trap - Sweet disposition will always be the best song ever written.. Always been a fan of all kind of house music as well.
Me : What is a perfect holiday for you?
Mathias : I've been fortunate to see a lot of places around the world, mostly thanks to my job. But a place I've never been is Africa, I would love to bring my girlfriend to, for example, Kenya. Since animals always been a big part of my life (I have 2 dogs and one cat myself) it would be amazing to go on a safari.
Me : And oh, what is your favorite book? since you do look like reading a lot..
Mathias : For the moment I'm reading a autobiography that the famous footballer (soccer for americans) Zlatan Ibrahimovic posted. Finished half of the book and I enjoy it so far, maybe because football always been a sport that I've played and watched on TV since I can remember. Another interesting book I've read is Motley Crew - the Dirt. Got it from my girlfriend a couple of years ago. That band was pretty crazy!
